Wordle Wonder

Yes I feel like a wordle wonder. I have installed Jing and have followed directions for making a screenshot as per http://take-a-screen-shot.org/ Pressed Prnscrn and copied it to my clipboard.I have the wordle on my clipboard and was told to hold ctrl and press v. It didn't happen. I am missing something. I know it can't be all that hard because I've done one beforeI'll keep trying.
