This is my trial run for posting a picture from Flickr. I like the looks of this library. It looks high-tech.

Wow! My brain will have gained several pounds after this class

Thank goodness for being able to file all of these wonderful websites and blogs for future use. All I have to do is learn how. I've been writing down references and sources in my notebook and can't wait to just hit a key and have the site recorded for me. One think link always leads to another, and another, until I have to say, "Enough, already. Start over tomorrow when the brain cools off."

Wiki at a glance

I enjoyed looking at the links suggested to help in the creation of my wiki. Truth be told, I am so blown away at all of the possibilities. I can't wait until I learn how toadd to and embellish my wiki. I get so impatient to get it all done and I have to keep telling myself to slow down and do just a little each day. Otherwise, I get paralyzed by how much I need to learn.

UELMA Rocks!

At UELMA, I liked having my tech class in the computer lab and visiting the sites while they were being described to me. I feel as if I am becoming a computer nerd. I have fought this like a bucking bronco. First off, my computer mutinied on me. Good reason to have relationship problems with my computer. Then, I'm so old school; the thought of leaving books behind for something as impersonal as a machine, stalled me out. As I become more proficient, I believe the possibilities will be beyond my comprehension.

Sink or Swim?

I'm dog-paddling for my life. This class is what I call an information explosion. I know this is the wave of the future and to survive, I must become skilled at this. (Read the waves).Who would have thought ten years ago we'd have the world - literally at our fingertips. Tuesday night's class was so interesting. I have tried to download what I need for the Stellarium website, but it didn't work. Any suggestions? My dad is an avid star-gazer and I know he'd love this site.
